What is Neuromodulation?

Neuromodulation is a form of non-invasive treatment such as tDCS, tACS, and tVNS that use low-level electrical stimulation to support attention, mood, pain, and nervous system regulation.

These modalities condition the brain to regulate itself over repeated sessions.

What types of neurmodulation are offered?

Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS), and Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation (tVNS) are non-invasive neuromodulation therapies that use low-level electrical currents to influence brain activity and promote neurological change. tDCS works by delivering a steady, low-level current to targeted brain regions, modulating neuronal excitability to support improvements in attention, memory, depression, and chronic pain. tACS uses oscillating currents tuned to specific brainwave frequencies. such as theta or gamma, to entrain and regulate neural rhythms, showing promise for cognitive enhancement, mood disorders, and sleep disturbances.

tVNS stimulates the vagus nerve through the skin near the ear, activating the brain's broader regulatory networks to reduce inflammation, support autonomic balance, and address conditions including depression, anxiety, epilepsy, and PTSD. While research is ongoing, a growing body of clinical evidence supports the effectiveness of these modalities — particularly when used as part of an integrated treatment plan.

Patients commonly reportmeaningful improvements in mood, focus, and overall cognitive function.
